Need clarification on ILR apply date

Hi,

I have UK tier 2 general visa BRP issue date 28-Aug-2020 but first entry was on 28-Sep-2020 ( 30 days after visa issued ). I see we can apply ILR 28 days before visa expiry but there is information that 28-days before are considered from visa issue date.

can someone confirm below queries please
1. Can I apply 28 days before visa issue data ? i.e., ILR apply on 01-August-2025

The 28-day concession has nothing to do with the date of your application. It is about the earliest time when you can become eligible for ILR. The rules do not care when you apply.

1. Can I apply for ILR on 01-Aug-2025 ? ( 28-Aug-2020 + 5 Years - 28 Days )

1. Did you read the advice above or not ?? Did you read the advice under the link I shared ?? That is the earliest date of ILR eligibility. You can apply either before or after that date, as long as you are eligible on the date of decision. Read the advice given !!
