The categories for document upload are as below with drop list of what to upload but I had a question.
1. Proof of present citizenship
Copy of present valid passport
Cancelled or surrendered Indian passport (
assuming I don't need to upload mine as application is for my daughter who is born British)Copy of registration/naturalization certificate (
again assuming I don't need to upload anything for this as my daughter is British by birth)Parental Authorisation (in case of minor applicants) - does this need to be notorized?! The form says notorized but I applied for an OCI for my first child two years ago and never did any notorising but had it granted. Just wanted to see what everyone else was doing?!
2. Evidence of address:
Driving licence
Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill copy
3. Minor child whose both parents are citizen of India or one of the parents is a Citizen of India:
Copy of Present Indian passport of the parents/ one of the parents
(husbands Indian passport, haven't uploaded mine as it's British - but Do I not need to submit passport and OCI anywhere?!Copy of child birth certificate
Marriage Certificate of Parents
Those are the only categories and headings of documents to be uploaded.
Please can anyone assist in helping me with my queries Nd letting me know if there's anything else I need?
