IMR related to ILR

Post by apprehensive » Sun Oct 19, 2025 7:33 am

I am relocating to a city in Scotland and looking for a place to rent, have come across a flat being offered for rent with Intermediate Market Rent Scheme, so basically 20% less, to aid people to save up a deposit towards their first house in the UK but unsure if this is classified as Public funds as i do not want this affecting my ILR when it’s time to apply. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you

Intermediate Market Rent Scheme has no connection to public funds. "Public funds" in Scotland includes only government benefits and support, administered by the UK government's Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and those specifically managed by Social Security Scotland
