has ANYONE GONE BANKRUPT AND succesfully gained uk citizenship? im asking for A friend..shes from south africa ..has residency in the uk..her mom and brother are uk citizens but shes jsut gone bankrupt due to debt from mental health reasons...should she apply for citizenship or not bother..she has no family in south africa...thanks

Your friend needs to review the good character guidance. Have arrangements been made to clear her debt, can she get medical evidence that her financial decisions were affected by a diagnosable disease, when did this happen?
