SARU: missing trip and inaccuracy

Post by steca-stef » Wed Nov 12, 2025 4:21 am

Hi all,

I apologize, but unfortunately I cannot retrieve my credentials.
I'm referring to the link viewtopic.php?t=355077#p2196535

To summarize the topic of the link above:
Over the past five years, specifically from March 2021 to August 2022 (18 months), I have focused on improving my skills rather than employment, completing three online courses and obtaining three certifications.
In my citizenship application, I documented my travels, spending less than 450 days abroad in the past five years and less than 90 days outside the UK in the past year.
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide further proof of residency during the above-mentioned period of unemployment, as the courses were online.
I have not faced any work restrictions, have never applied for benefits, and am able to support myself financially.
My concern is whether the Home Office might reject my application based on my period of unemployment, and whether I can clarify this in a covering letter.

In the meantime, I applied for a basic SARU as suggested in that discussion, attaching the two passports covering that period.
The report contains two inaccuracies:
- a missing trip in July from London to Italy; it was the first flight in a five-year period, and without it, it appears I returned to the UK after 11 months or more.
- a report states that I did not board a flight in January 2023, despite having taken it.

I later requested a review of the report and the response was:
We conducted a search using all the details of the documents submitted and disclosed all the entry and exit data identified. The Home Office border systems retain passenger entry and exit data from the UK only via scheduled commercial routes. The accuracy of the information provided depends on the quality of the data provided by the carriers. Any errors or omissions in the data provided should be reported to the carrier that provided the information.
I tried contacting Ryanair, but to no avail.

To be honest, I'm now quite discouraged and unsure whether I should apply, risking losing $1,750.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Not a problem. Attach the SAR and explain two trips are missing, and declare the dates when you took all trips.
All advice comes from personal research and experience and should not be regarded as professional opinion.

I don't really know how can I thank you!

Thanks
