Also I am about to start applying for GC through PERM process and I was told by the Univ human resources that we need to advertise my position for 4 weeks and if any US citizen or perm resident with minimum requirements applies then I will have to withdraw application and wait 6 months....
I thought that sucked! Is it even possible now to get GC through employment? Position has to be REALLLLLLLLLLY specific in order to avoid even applications! When I got the job there were like 2 or 3 other applicants for the position
