Post by Oakley25 » Thu Dec 04, 2025 9:55 pm

Hi all .

My husband is british citizen ,when he applied I was NRPF but when need to apply as couples , after that UC sent a letter to confirm that am not eligible for benefit and they block access to my UC account. UC start using statment as couples but on the payment ONLY as single Because of NRPF.

Now I recieved my ILR what should I do?

You now need to make a new claim for UC, link with your husband and you’ll have another habitual residence test as you now have ILR, you should pass. Provide UC with an S share code.

Thank you for your reply.

Already statement comes with joint names .

Do you think I have to open new account ?

Or just contact them on my husband journal to inform ?

Their claim is closed when they failed their HRT, they will need their own account to link with you so will need to make a new claim.
