Dear Mods and Experts,

Just a generic question

If one parent got ILR , is it possible for child under 18 to apply for british citizen straight without applying for ILR if child spent 5 years in UK as dependent to Tier 1 E

Thanks
Only if the child was born in the uk.

No shortcut route for children born abroad. The child needs ILR first.

Acknowledgement email normally comes from TLS and/or UKVI - tends no to be reliable.
Perhaps follow up with TLS. If they have taken your money you should be OK.
Referees are not normally contacted.

I don’t think there’ll be another email, from UKVI.
Also note there won't be updates during processing, and no online status portal.
6 months is the UKVI target (an aspiration, not a guarantee) - often faster, sometime slower.
