Given name and Surname update on British passport

Hi Team,

I am planning to update the given name on my British passport
From Current Given Name: My first name + father's name
To New Given Name: My first name + husband's name

and also update my surname
From Current Surname: father's surname
To New Surname: husband's surname

We got married in India and have registered marriage certificate.

Since I am updating my given name after marriage, I will submit an 'Unenrolled Deed Poll'. Will that be ok?

I will also submit our marriage certificate, what other supporting documents are needed?

The HMPO passport policy has the following para:
"Customers who take their partner’s surname as their own
A customer who takes their partner’s surname as their own new surname, must provide evidence of the change of name, which will usually be a marriage or civil partnership certificate.
We do not need any other evidence, as long as the marriage or civil partnership certificate shows the link between the customer’s previous and new name."

Adding the deed pool should be ok/might be helpful.
Whether a foreign marriage certificate is acceptable needs to be clarified by HMPO (contact the Helpline). Unless it's in English a translation may be required.
