Assuming you left the UK with a valid leave to remain and then returned within 180 days, that should be fine.
That should also be fine, so long as your total absence across all 10 years is less than 540 days.
Thanks Zimba for the response
This is mostly outside the scope of immigration advice here. There are many websites out there that offer mock tests or test preparations for LIUK. We cannot comment on which one is better. The advice over the years has been that doing some mock tests as well as studying the official book, should be more than enough to pass the test. This is a straightforward and easy test for most peopleBajajcool wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2026 5:43 pmHi everyone
I am preparing for life in the uk test and I have purchased a life in the uk subscription from officiallifeinuk where I have gone through 25 / 30 mock tests. However, while going through Internet people are recommending lifeintheuktestweb mock tests. I am a bit confused. Appreciate your guidance.
thanks
There is no best way to get one. There is no insider knowledge or process on how you can get one either. Slots are released as per capacity and are quite sought after. Appointment selection for each application is done separately.Bajajcool wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 8:59 pmHi
I would like to apply ILR on super priority for myself, my wife and my daughter as we have completed 10 years. I understand that slots are limited at open at 1 am UK time. Is that correct? What is the best way to secure the slots as i need to do it as a family and doing one after another will loose the slot for my family? Please guide.
