My father needs to apply for ILR. His initial spouse visa application was based on cash savings, and we used the same for his 2.5-year extension. My mother still holds the same amount. My name was added to the account for administrative purposes only, as my mother is 75 years old and cannot do online banking. I just found out that the Home Office will not accept it and that it will become a joint account. So I had myself removed. What is the best option to convince the home office? I can create a declaration stating that the money was all my mother's and that I was just there for her online activities.

Write a cover letter showing the cash was marinated before, during and also after your name on the account. Provide all the statements
