Further extension after expiry of three yr extension

Post by OFCHARITY » Mon Jun 13, 2005 3:16 pm

Hi all

I spoke with someone at the Home office (HSMP people recommended I called them). I asked what options were available at the end of my three year HSMP extension since I came to the UK near the start date of my initial HSMP visa, but then left the country for a little over 5 months. I was told that such persons are allowed to apply using FLR(IED) for a further extension to make up for the months spent outside the UK, in order to meet the four year continuos stay requirement for indefinate leave to remain. I thank God for this answer to prayers, since I was a bit worried to make long term plans since I wasn't sure if I would be able to remain in the UK at the end of the three years extension.
