Reimbursements in Payslips and others....

Post by FlyToUK » Tue Jan 20, 2009 11:39 am

Hi Guys,

I would be applying for Tier I (General) in a couple of months and had a few questions regarding the same:

Proof of Earnings:

1) I have my payslips for the last 12 months. However, in some months I have received reimbursements which are marked as such in the payslip. I do not wish to claim the same. How should I identify these in my application.

I mean where do I specify that for Month so and so, I have received a total of x Rs of which y is reimbursable and I am claiming only x-y Rs.

2) My salary is usually credited on the last working day of the month. Sometimes it is 29th, sometimes 30th or 31st. In some cases, it can also go upto 2nd of the next month.

How do we handle this. Also the bank statement only mentions 'SALARY' as the detail for that transaction, rather than 'SALARY for Month X' which makes things a little difficult.

3) Twice a year, I receive Bonus as well, this could be credited today, however it reflects only in next months payslips. How does one handle this?

4) Wanted to check with guys from India, as to how difficult/easy is it to get sealed bank statements on letter head from ICICI bank.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Cheers
