Help! Ticked wrong box on application form!

Post by heroconan » Mon Jan 19, 2009 7:29 pm

Just posted out my application forms and all documents, then realised I'd made a silly mistake - I've ticked "Yes" to both boxes at questions

G1. Does the applicant consider him/herself to be covered by the HSMP forum ltd. Judicial review
Judgement of 8 April 2008? yes/no

G2. Does the applicant wish to have the application assessed in accordance with paragraph 39-42 of
the HSMP forum ltd. Judicial review: Policy Document? yes/no

While I am actually making a fresh application not a review.

As I posted my docs by special delivery so it's now too late to stop them being posted... I wonder if there's any way to save my application and the £750 application fee??

Any advise will be much appreciated!!

Wait for your acknowledgement letter from UKBA, once you receive it try calling the number mentioned on the letter stating the reference number and explain your case.

Thanks for the reply.

that's also what I was told when i called the home office.

Or I could contact my bank and stop the payment, then the application pack will be returned to me.
