Help! Earning period

hello all,

I always get paid on 10th each month. For example, I get paid for January on 10th Jan. if it's not a holiday.

I started my job on 10th March 2008, and my earnings will reach the certain level if I get paid for Febuary on 10th Feb. 2009. I received the pay for last March and April on 10 April 2008.

Should I put the date of earnings from 10 March 2008 to 10 Feb. 2009 or put 10 March 2008 to 27 Feb. 2009?

I will sumit my application on 10 Feb. 2009. Do you think it strange to see that I claim my earnings for the period between 10 Feb. 2009 and 27 Feb.2009?
