Parallel Study and Job plus two parallel Jobs

Post by rao166 » Wed Jun 15, 2005 10:06 am

Hello Everyone.

My case is a bit complicated.

I done masters while doing job. I have total 4 yrs of exp, out of which 2yrs were paralleled with study and job. However job requirements are to complete 40 hrs a week i.e full time.

Secondly, for income points i am doing two jobs in parallel, one is full time and other is a sort of training ppl which i do normally in evening or at saturdays. Both jobs salary make 25 points for me.

so here is a brief overview

age=5
mss=25
4 yrs work=35
income=25

but as a worst case they dont accept parllel thing i m left with
age=5
msc=25
2 yrs work=25
total=55

What do u guys think abt this parallel thing. Do u know any case where they accept or reject the same thing.

Cheers

assuming that you are on a student visa, your have already broken the law since you are not allowed to work more than 20hrs per week

for work experience, make sure your letters state that you were working full-time, 40 hours/week, and that the job required a university degree. that way, they would consider the 2 years work experience you while doing your masters. there's a lot of good advice on this board on how to write a good work experience reference letter.

for earnings, make sure that the combined earnings from both jobs you are doing now are reported on your tax return (otherwise they might only consider salary from the main job). and include your payslips and bank statements.
