Tier 1 extension - Just 8 months payslip

Hi,

I have started a new job in U.K 8 months back. Could you please let me know if I can apply for Tier 1 extension with just 8 months payslip instead of 12 months payslip. In these 8 months, I have got sufficient earnings to claim the necessary points.

Please read the guidelines document that explains your condition. Also it would be good to perform a search in this forum. I bet you are not the only one applying with just 8 months payslips.

You can apply if you have enough earnings.. but it for sure effects the Maintenance funds that you need to show for your dependents???

Dependants of Tier 1 main applicants
J1. In order for the application to be approved the dependant must have a minimum level of funds. If they do not have the required level of funds the application will be refused.
The level of funds the dependant must have access to depends on the length of time the main applicant has been in the UK. Please indicate whether the main applicant has been in the United Kingdom for:
Less than 12 months
Please provide evidence of more than £1600 of available funds
12 months and over
Please provide evidence of more than £533 of available funds

Tvn_ramesh - I am currently in U.K in HSMP and will be moving to Tier1.
My questions

1) Do I need to show evidence that I have been in UK for 12 months if I show payslips for 8 months.

2) Is the maintenance fund requirement 800£ or different. I will be applying for an extension for me with my wife and kid.
