Guys i need information , i am family member of EU national, about myself is that i am a qualified dentist got my basic studies in Pakistan, three yrs back met with beautiful Czech lady to whom i married 6months back, so i was been good in Pakistan but my wife is working in a very good comapny at the Financial Manager post and she said to live in Prague becoz of uncertainity in Karachi, so we moved here and i went to Charles university for my work here as dentist they said my dental degree which is BDS is not equal to czech degree which is MUDr , anywayz long story short, not i planned to go to UK and do post graduation there, another thing i want to ask is that can i go there and my wife can work in Prague till i become stable. Thanks

Not on the ur existing Czech visa.

You will need the appropriate UK visa, student, work permit or HSMP - not sure which is correct for you..

Of course if u accompany ur wife you can come to UK on an EEA Family Permit.

thanks for your reply , it means i have apply like normal visa for UK , i want to ask another thing tht if i go to UK on visit visa and want to change it there can i change it ???

Da, tolko nemnogo, eto trudno yazik, po-moemu! Ya lublyu govorit' na russkom yazike vsegda esli mozhno...

Unfortunately you can't change from visit to visa to anything much really - a few exceptions, usually drastic ones...

I think tho if ur wife accompanied you to UK and you entered as a family member under EU rules, maybe you can switch from that - wait for others more expert tho on that.

you can't switch from EU rules to uk immigration rules it would be too easy.If you enter the uk as a family member of an EU citizen (with EEA family permit )with your EU citizen you will get the right to work and study.But if your wife leaves the country you will lose your right of residence.No possibility to switch to another categoy in country.

What if i go UK with my wife on family permit and start doing post graduation there,by the mean time in few month my wife trsansfer he job to UK, does it works ?

The problem i have is tht i wanna go do post graduation but for training post in hospital i shall need work permit as being family member of EU national i dont need that which is the best thing i can get
