Austria obviously plans to overhaul its immigration system for third country nationals, http://oe1.orf.at/inforadio/101540.html (German only). The report mentions the Blue card which originally was planned to be valid for the whole EU but this plan was rejected by some member countries. Instead each country will issue their own "blue" card.
