Confirmation Letter from the UK BA

Hello,

I've recently posted my application for PSW to the UK BA. Should I receive some kind of a letter confirming that they have received my application and are considering it?

My employer requires me to provide this letter in order for me to continue working, otherwise they are saying they cannot continue offering me work from next week when my current student leave to remain expires.

Please give your advise as this is a really unpleasant situation!

If I do receive a letter - when it arrives?
If not - how do I prove to the employer that I still can work?

They should use the employer checking service provided by UKBA, whether you have a letter or not.

Yes definately u will receive a letter from the home office which will shows ur application refrence number, give tht letter to ur employer so tht he can directly confirm from the home office .
