Advice for a friend required

One of my friend spoke to me today after 10 years. I didn't know he was in UK on student visa.. Anyway, here is the story.

He arrived UK in 2006 on student visa and got admission in of bogus college in Southall London.

After sometime college was closed down and his visa extension was due. He applied for PSW rather than getting extension.

His apps was refused due to college being bogus and now he is seriously worried about what will happen next as Home Office had clearly stated that all his apps will be refused in future.

Now what are the chances of staying here and study in proper uni?

He has zero chance of getting to stay on in the UK under a student visa.
Basically he has used deception to attempt to gain a PSW visa so he is very likely to be on a mandatory ban when / if he try’s again.
