Yet another ILR question

Here's my situation:
- I got a 6-month work permit in July 2004
- further to that, I got a 5-year WP in Jan 2005
- subsequently, I switched to HSMP in April 2006 (valid for 2 years), which I renewed in March 2008 (valid until 2011)

Now my question: When can I apply for ILR?
- is it July 2009, based on the original 6-month WP start date?
- or do I need to wait until Jan 2010, based on the 5-year WP start date?

I think you should be applying for ilr in june-july 2009 if you dont have any gaps in your WP, hsmp etc.

The start date of your qualifying period for ilr is when you entered UK for the first time.
