QUERY-ILR dependent

Hi

My WP started in Aug 04 and will be eligible for my ILR in Aug 09. My wife came to UK in 2005. She went to India for her delivery in last June and came back in Nov (absebce of 162 days). I read some where that you should not have more than 90 days absence in the last year. Will she also get ILR if I apply in Aug 09 ?

Probably refers to naturalisation requirements.

If the current rules are unchanged and your wife's leave is as your wp dependant, then yes (196E).

I have another doubt. Other than some NHS letters and the passport stamps I dont have any address proof for her. WIll Home Offfice insist on address proof for my wife as well ?

Having looked the SET(O) guidelines in detailed, i dont think there is a requirement to show proof of address for a spouse.

Well if you have time, there is no harm in getting proof of address, like apply for a joint bank account, spouse name on council bill(next bill coming in April 2009) etc.
