How are applications processed

Hi,

I am a little curious about how out application is processed.

I have been to the public enquiry office before for extending my student visa. They first check whether you provide all the necessary documents. Then, you go and make your payment. After the payment is made, you hand in your application to the caseworker.

I don't know if they follow the same process for Tier 1 post applications.

. Do they check all the necessary documents before taking payment?
. If they take the payment from my account, does that mean I didn't miss any document?

They do check, but that does not mean that your application is guaranteed to be decided the same day because they may need further info, nor that it will be approved. However, I believe the approval rates are higher at the PEO possibly because of this screening, and also because they only accept certain types of application.

It is better to avoid the circumstance in which someone waits for 1 month and later notified some document is missing.
