HSMP extension - maintanence Funds

Post by ravi6666 » Mon Feb 23, 2009 11:19 am

Hi All,

My Initial HSMP Visa expires on 24-April-2009. As we have to show maintanence funds for last three months. I am having funds in my bank account from 30-Dec-2008. So 3 months ends on March 31 ,2009.

Please let me know if it is too late to apply on March 31 ,2009 for HSMP extension..( as my initial hsmp visa expires on April 24,2009).

I heard that we have to apply for extension atleast 5 weeks in advance before visa expires. If I apply before March 31,2009 will they reject my application due to "no minimum funds from past three months"?.

please let me know,

Thanks in advance,
Ravi

there is no rule that u need to apply 5 weeks before. I contacted help desk and answer was that one should apply before visa expires.
So actually you can apply even a week before or 3 months before for that matter.
