medical papers issued

Post by siri_uk » Thu Feb 26, 2009 4:53 am

Hi

We have just been sent an email by the BHC in Chennai, they have stated that my wife needs to pick up medical forms from VFS in Bangalore on the 27th at 4pm, on the email it states that visa will be issued after medical clearance. My wife has not had interview, I am not sure whether this is right or they made a mistake. Does this mean she will not need an interview and will get the visa after medical, I am trying to be positive and hope that this is light at the end of the tunnel. where will she have the medical? She is from Bangalore.

Regards

Interviews on applicants are only carried out if there are some serious doubt about an application.

Yes its possible that you wife has been granted a visa in principal, but the ECO can not stamp it in her passport before she has this medical done. If the medical is ok, then it will be granted.

Most applications are now judged by the documents you present with an application. If they are all ok and genuine and you meet the criteria of the Immigration rules, the ECO will normally issue a visa without the need to have a face to face interview.

Hope that helps
