UK WP to Tier-1 Help needed

HI Friends,

Need your advice..

I am in Uk from 1 month now on WP and want to switch over to Tier-1.

I have the following questions:
+Can i show salary slips of Jan08 to Dec08 (Indian Salary)
+I dont have sufficient funds in UK now, but have enuf funds in Indian Bank, will they consider this for maintainence fund?
+ can anyone share in how much time i would get the passport back or wht are the timelines for switching from WP to Tier-1, are they longer than fresh Tier-1 applications.
+ Do i need to give any address proof of UK?

pl also tell if there is anything specific related to switching from wp to tier-1

I am in a real hurry to apply due to changes scheduled from April 2009.

thanks buddy for the quick revert... i have 2.5lacs in the account, and that exceeds the fresh tier-1 requirement.. i hope that would be fine.

further, just out of curiosity, pl can u tell if u too had switched from wp to tier-1
