UK Citizen to America - K1 Application

Hi,

Please could somebody help?

I'm going to stay in the US at the beginning of June for three months using the Visa waiver programme and then would be getting engaged.

We would like to apply for the K1 fiance visa at this point, towards the end of my stay but we are wondering if it would be possible for me (The UK Citizen) to return to the US whilst the K1 is going through the approval procedure?

I travelled to the USA in September 2008 for 2 weeks after my fiance filed the petition in may 2008 and had no problems coming on a temporary visit on visa waiver. I would however recommend carrying proof that you intend to travel back to the uk after visit. eg, proof that you are currently working, bank accounts, rental agreements etc, as they could check.
