work permit to HSMP

Hi Guys,

One of my friend and his wife are working in UK with work-permits from the same company.

His wife is not a dependent on my friend.

Now my friend wants to apply for HSMP.

Is it possible to apply for HSMP with his wife as dependent from UK itself ?

As both of them are in UK itself.
