Tier-1 Appln Form Doubts...urgent Help

Hi All,

I've got some doubts in the Tier-1 General Application Form applying within UK :

1. Page- 32 Section- L6:
Here you can see there are 4 rows(for different start and end dates) for the previous earnings.
I am showing the earnings period from 15th June,07 to 31st May,08, where
15th June,07 to 31st Aug,07 in company X and 1st Sept,07 to 31st May,08 in company Y.

In this above section do I need to fillup :

1. Only one row(the whole earning period) ie, 15th Jun,07 to 31st May,08

OR

2. Two rows, one each (separately) for companies X and Y.


2. Page-33 Section- L7:
Here I need to enter the earning details from each source(max of 3 blank rows given on the page).
I am considering my earnings from one source ie, SALARY, though it was from 2 different companies.

So, do I need to fillup:

1. Details of the employer and earnings from it in each of the row ( here 2 rows, one for X and one for Y). In this case I
will have to show the start and end dates in each company and the appropiate exchange rate on the last working date(31st
Aug,07 for X and 31st May,08 for Y) in each company,which will be a violation as per the guidelines.

OR

2. Details of both employers and earnings from them together in a single row(out of 3 rows given). Here, the total earnings will be
shown(sum of earnings from X and Y) and a single exchange rate as on 31st May,08.


Request you all to reply me as soon as possible as I will be applying in the mid of next week.

I'm not sure which form you are talking about. Is it PBSAppendix ? If so, are you talking about sections 4.7 & 4.8?

Section 4.7 (same as Page- 32 Section- L6 mentioned by you) - make two entries.

Section 4.8 (same as Page-33 Section- L7 mentioned by you) - make two entries. Use the exchange rate 31st May,08 for both the entries. Don't worry, even if this part (exchange rate) is wrong, the case worker will do their own calculations. Just make sure you are comfortably placed in the earnings point band you are claiming using any of the exchange rates or worst case caseworker's own exchange rate for that month as they sometime don't consider oanda rates.

What I have understood so far is that the entries for L-6 Page-32 in my appln form(Section 4.7 in urs) the entries are for different sources of earnings such as salary,bonuses, property rental earnings,savings and investments etc..... same is for entries to L-7 page 33(sec-4.8 in urs).....

I am considering salary from 2 companies as single source of income....so that's why the confusion....I hope now u can advice me better on this......thanks once again....
