URGENT: Applying HSMP (Non JR) Extension - Not employed

Hi,

I am going to apply for HSMP (Non JR) Extension soon. Currently I am not employed. I was in a permanent job as Software Engineer (Team lead) till first week of Feb '09 and got paid till then.

So, what should I fill in the form for the below mentioned?

B26: The applicant should indicate whether they consider themselves to be employed or self-employed (What should I fill in this considering that I am not employed? Is this a qualifying criterion for the extension)
B27: Please select the applicant's main occupation (Note.. Software professional is not there in the list)

B28: Please give the applicant's current job title

Is there a chance of my application getting rejected as I am not currently into a job?

Reply from people who had similar experience would be very much appreciated.

This should be employed as you have earned the salary from some company.

Use your last job title. E.g Test Lead etc.

As far as you are qualifying for the points and providing corroborating evidences, it should be fine.
Make sure you have enough Maintenance Funds in your bank for last 3 months.
Wait for the confirmation from Senior Members of the forums.

Agree with chetanojha

Make it clear in your cover letter that were employed till recently and are now looking for one. It should not jeopardise your chances at all.
