Clearing Payment - Query

Hi,

Wonder if anyone could shed some light on this.

I applied for HSMP (Tier 1) Extension under JR on 7th March 2009.

BIA received the application on 9th March (Proof of Delivery on Royal Mail site).

Today, its 12th March, till now the payment has not gone from my bank account. I paid by Debit Card (visa).

Phoned BIA, they said they cannot comment on progress until at least 6 weeks.

I thought the payment will clear in a day, but in my case it has now been 4 days and nothing as of yet.

Does it take this much long?

It should be quick.. 1 or 2 days max.. just check with your bank?

one of my friend who applied recently got their reference number after a week... so might be they are taking time now.
