Tier-1 visa for dependants

Post by scorpioman » Sun Mar 15, 2009 10:39 am

Hi all,

I have recently joined the site & i have some queries reg. Tier-1 UK visa.

I have applied for tier-1 visa recently as per current rules & i wish to apply for my wife & kids but i am waiting for the completetion of maintainance fund requirement.

i seek help from you all on following.

currently i have maintained the fund of 3300 punds for myself & on that ground i have already applied for the visa.

my query is:
1: can i use the same fund for my dependants or i will have to arrange for addional fund for them.
2: after i get the visa is there any time limit in which i will have to go to UK?

Regards,

Scorpioman

1: No
2: No but an inordinate delay will impact (delay) your ILR application after 5/8 years. i.e.you might have to apply for an additional extension to reach the threshold for ILR in future.
