ILR for Spouse and Children

Post by fyounuspk » Thu Mar 19, 2009 1:55 pm

Hi
I entered UK on 2nd June 2004 and am looking to apply for ILR before June this year. Can someone please help in answering the following queries?

1. Am I eligible to apply for ILR for myself in 5 years from the date of entry in the UK?
2. Is my dependant especially my wife eligible to get her ILR with me even though she entered the UK in Sep 2004?

Thanks
Faisal Younus

Faisal,
You must apply for ILR of yourself and dependents as single request. If applying separately, Home-office will make dependents wait for 2 years as they will ask dependent get a new visa on basis of ur ILR stamp.
Sounds silly... may be irrelevant but thought better let u know
