FLR HSMP JR - is relationship prove required

Post by Ali_Sch » Sat Mar 21, 2009 1:48 pm

Hi all

I am intending to apply for HSMP visa extention which falls under Judcicial review scheme. I just wanted to know
- do i need to send the prove of relationship with my wife. It is not mentioned in guidanace as well as in section 7 checklist of application form, however it is listed in main document checklist in section 10.

If this is required can you please advise whether marriage certifcate as translated to english by a certified transaltor in Pakistan would be acceptable here for visa extentaion. My wife submitted the same for her entry clearance in pk

- do any one else 4 year period completing soon? should we wait for another week or so to find out whether we would be entitled for ilr after judgement or to apply now. Any idea about time the HO will take to implement it even if the judgement were to reverse ilr from 5 to 4 years?

Many thanks for your help

As per the guidance, any document which are not in english needs to be translated in English. If you are in UK, better get it translated here so that HO can always verify with your translator. If translation is done in UK, you can rest assure that it cannot be refuted by HO.

There is not harm providing marriage certificate with you application. Better safe than sorry.
