Did you check with your bank to see if anybody had contacted them regarding your application?priya_bhosale wrote:Yes the bank statements were on official stationary, had the bank logo and also were stamped. The reason given was that they were unable to 'verify' them. Not that they didnt meet the requirements.

I think you will need some earnings in the UK, but I aslo think it's OK if a proportion of the earnings are made overseas. Nevertheless, the reason given by the caseworker for rejection is due to a lack of rejection rather than an inappropriate claim of points...which suggests that they did accept her earnings from overseas but only couldn't veryfy them.maheshnair wrote:Hi All ,priya_bhosale wrote:Yes the bank statements were on official stationary, had the bank logo and also were stamped. If you are in HSMP and making an extension , your earnings should be in UK . That is what i feel . Am i right seniors .
How can you show a income made in INDIA ?
why is your company giving 2 salaries . 1 in india 1 in uk .
Always be sure that the stuffs are simple , else HO will definitely take us for a ride ?
One can definately show overseas earnings e.g. in case of short term deputation overseas etc.maheshnair wrote:Hi All ,priya_bhosale wrote:Yes the bank statements were on official stationary, had the bank logo and also were stamped. The best course of action for you will be to find out if at all any contact was established with the Bank and then plan the next step.priya_bhosale wrote:Thank you for the comments.
I havent checked with my bank if they were called as i just received the rejection letter today. And yes they have accepted my income as it says in the Tier1 guidelines that overseas income is acceptable. The problem was with the verification of the evidence.

When I applied a few years ago, I found to my horror that the my employer could not be contacted from out of country due to some switching problems at the local telephone exchange. So call your bank and find out (1) If there was any contact, (2) If yes, how was it handled (3) Direct contact details of the senior person there.

I had checked with the bank and they had not contacted them till about 5 days ago. The problem with the bank is (as it being a small bank) the phone could be answered by anyone as there isnt a switchboard or anything.
So can you advise what course of action should be taken for the following scenarios:
1. Bank was contacted but the person who answered was not able to confirm the details.
2. Bank was not contacted.
3. No one can tell if it was contacted or not as may be the person who answered the call just hung up as he/she didnt understand the other person (HO person) and hence didnt understand what the call was about!
Thank you for your comments.

Verification is not done in all cases, but where there is reasonable doubt arises. Seeing your previous posts

There is something more than, stated problem. Which none from board can help you to sort out.
I wonder how HO can match your earning if you have deposit of 3 months(due to some tax issues) salary in one month. No wonder they tried to verify with your bank.
