Change of Job

Post by anjali_devi » Fri Apr 03, 2009 11:45 am

Hello,

I am about to make a naturalisation application under HSMP + ILR.

I am also planning to quit my current job after I submit my application.

Do I need to inform BIA if I quit my job while my application is being considered?

Thanks in advance,
Anjali

You only submitted your question yesterday so expect some delay :D
Arrived UK in Dec 2000, Received ILR Oct 2008, Citizenship Approved March 2016.

One of my known ppl is now on ILR and jobless ( credit crunch) and taking job seeker allowance. He gonna apply for citizenbship. He called HO for getting advice how to mention his job status in the form ( there is only two choice : Employment or self employment). The ppl of HO advised him to mention ' on benefit'.

During recession time any one can be on benefit in absence of suitable job in UK now, they know it perfectly.
