Name spelt wrongly on CoA received! Please help!

Post by AncientAlien » Sun Dec 21, 2008 7:08 pm

I received a COA about 4 weeks after applying for EEA2 Resident document. Unfortunately, my name was not spelt the correct way on the document so I contacted the HO and received another letter saying that I need to send back the wrong COA before I can receive a correct one.
Now I am still waiting after 1 month with no new COA in sight.
Please can anyone suggest my next line of action as I can't seem to get through to anyone on the phone and my fax are simply ignored.
Thanks. :(

It seems there are only two ways to contact them: via the email given on http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/conta ... tem=154904 , assuming your case is with North West, or by letter. Sometimes emails are answered very quickly.

For some reason, I don't seem to get replies to my e-mails, instead I find it more productive to actually write and register my posts to the HO.
