When did they ask you for more documents (P21, etc.)?IwannaBePaddy wrote:Applied June 2006, Garda check Nov 2008
What abt. someone getting points for speed driving? Does anyone know if someone was refused for that reason? one of my friend wanted to know abt. it.Lost Soul wrote:My whole family and I made use of Dental Benefits, Healthcare, Children's Allowance etc.
The only thing we never used was Jobseekers Allowance.
I had no problem getting naturalised.
You guys are becoming neurotic. One guy even asked whether getting caught driving in a bus lane would disqualify him. Get real!
Great work scrudu. This gives a good idea abt. the waiting period. Seems that lots of 2006 applications are still awaiting decision...scrudu wrote:REQUEST TO ALL: If you are entering data in the http://www.editgrid.com/user/scrudu/citizenship_apps, please only enter in your own row of data and DO NOT edit other people's rows of information! Someone has deleted 2 rows of information (Lines 2 & 3) which is very frustrating. Someone also tried to "sort" the data and ended up with the data all jumbled up. Please just enter your row of Information to the bottom of the list (as many rows as you like).
I update the grid daily (highlight grants/denials) and sort the rows according to Application date, so no further editing should be required. Thanks a lot
robin_hood, thanks for your input..anyone else would like to give their input regarding this?robin_hood wrote:Never heard of anybody being refused naturalisation because of the speeding points.
No Tax/Insurance- yes, this most definitely would cause issues getting approval.

I would think that it most certainly would have an effect on the outcome of youre apllication, unless youre a refugee!IwannaBePaddy wrote:what about getting unemployment for a year and now signing for tax credits do you think will be an issue?
Im in the same boat, also married to an eu citizen and was recently put on short time, but dont dare to claim unemployment for fear of any repercussion regarding my application.IwannaBePaddy wrote:no refugee, spouse of EU citizen who paid my taxes for lot of years until losing my job due to the economic crisis
