HSMP --> Tier-1(General) Extension for more than 3 Years

Is it possible than one can get HSMP Extension under Tier-1 (general) for more than 3 Years?
I have already applied for my extension. I entered UK after 45 days of my initial HSMP visa Stamped. Can I request the case worker to grant me an extension valid for 3 years and 1.5 months, so that I can qualify for ILR, without further extension in 2012?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Ask for it u never know caseworker might give u.
