Continue work in Germany after 1 year

Hello,

I am a Bulgarian citizen and I have been working in Germany for over 1 year in an IT company with a legal work permit. Is there any way after the contract with my current company expires to look for work in Germany and what documents do I need for this (permits, etc?). I am asking because I have read that in the UK after working legally in the UK for 12 months a citizen of an EU country can look for work just as any British citizen.

After doing some research on the Net I found a PDF document:

There it says (Q3 and Q4) that citizens of Bulgaria or Romania who have a work permit for >= 12 months in EU-25 (old EU) country at the moment of their home country's accession automatically get right to work in the EU-25 country they were working. The same rules apply for family members of workers who have a work permit for >= 12 months in EU-25 country at the moment of accession, or the family members must reside for 18 months or 3 years after accession, whichever is earlier to work in EU-25 country if they moved to live after accession to work in an EU-25 country. I could not understand, however, what about employees who have been working in an EU-25 country for >= 12 months AFTER their home country's accession? Must they also reside for 18 months?
