Abudhabi not processing VISA app frm PK!!

HI All

I hav been reading this fourm.

I would like to tell u all that i applied for spouce visa from karachi on 9th March.....so im anxiously waiting for result on my visa update. I found the VFS Abudhabi tel number from this fourm (0097126342530). I then called Abu-Dhabi office on the number...but they (Abu-Dhabi) just told me today that they dont process any visa applications from Pakistan and instead gave me the number....

However this is the Gerry's PTCL land line numer! Im confused. Gerry's always hav the same answer that my application is still in process.!!

Please can someone explain this?

The waiting time for spouse visa from Pakistan is currently 3 months. I think you have some waiting to do before you get an answer.

You need to stop worrying.It is unlikely you will get a response so soon after applying. Be patient and hopefully it will work out for you.

however out of curiosity i still would like to know why did i get a completely different response from the VFS service in AbuDhabi where all the Pakistani visas are said to be processed? I mean even on the tracking it says "application forwarded to ISL OC on". .... and from this fourm i hav learnet that it means application is in abudhabi and hence this is where i got the number from as well.

Please can u explain this?

I am afraid I cant explain that to you.

One thing I know for sure and that is not to take anything for granted that is said in Pakistan. You will hear all sorts from different people because of their experience in dealing with the appropiate authorities. Nothing is guaranteed untill such time you get a phone call or letter from the BHC/Fedex to tell you the outcome.

The minimum time the BHC to give them before contacting them is 3 months. This is unfortunately how long it takes to deal with the average case in Pakistan beccause of the huge influx of cases that the BHC recieve.

The trouble with some people is that they want an instant answer after lodging their appliction. This unfortunately is not possible espicially in Pakistan.

My advice is to wait patiently untill 3 months before you start contacting them. Trying to get an outcome before that would be impossible and all you will do is to put unneccesary pressure and worry on all concerned, which can affect you mentally
