Application Guidance

Post by ali_hsn » Mon Apr 27, 2009 5:14 pm

Hello all!

I am new to these forums, and considering it to be the right platform to clear my doubts here is my situation. I am in UK on WorkPermit scheme which was made obselte in nov 08. I do qualify with the point based system for Tier 1 General and my UK university also appears in the list. The only problem is my salary was paid by cheques...
Since my financial situation was not that good, I asked my employer if I could be paid on weekly basis. Sometimes I even took cash. All the deposits appear on Bank Statement, apart from the cash figures which do not match the payslips i.e. I used to spend some before making a deposit. (Anyone in UK would know how difficult it is without a debit card, I was on Basic Account).
Following all this, would I still be eligible to apply with bank statements and weekly payslips + letter from my employer?
I was recently informed that the application process involves tallying your payslips with the bank statement.

Sorry about the awfully long post, any suggestions ??

regards,

yes, I have all the payslips stating my tax code and stating my gross and net salalry. Also, I have the end of year letter stating the amount of tax I have paid. Will that be sufficient enough?
