want to extend visa start date.. but how?

I have got approval letter today, for tier-1 visa after admin review. They are now asking for passport. I dont want to move within next months.

I am confused what to do now as I have heared that i must enter UK within 28 days of visa start, which I cant due to personal reasons.

If you are outside UK, you can request for your visa(entry clearance) to be issued from a specific date in the future. Obviously you can't postpone it for too long. But as the approval letter is valid for 6 months, you can apply within 6 months.

Also, its not mandatory that you enter UK within 28 days. My visa started on 12 July and I entered UK on 25 Aug. No issues man.

how can i ask my visa to be started from any particular date? shoud i fill in any form?

It is not mandatory for you to enter UK within 28 days of VISA start date.
