URGENT QUERY - HSMP TIER 1

URGENT QUERY - HSMP TIER 1

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for my HSMP Tier 1 General visa this week from the UK. I am currently on Fresh Talent Scheme which expires this year end. My question to you guys is will it be ok if I apply for Tier 1 seven months in advance?

Do you mean you want to change the category from Fresh talent to Tier 1(general)?
I think it should be fine if you change in advance.

Yeah, I wanna switch 2 Tier 1(General) as Fresh Talent doesn't count in stay..Is there any timeframe by HO as to when 1 can switch 2 another immigration status if the current visa is still valid??

U can apply anytime as long as u full fill the requirement for Tier 1...

jgupta,

you can apply for T1 any time except for any term on your current ltr (Fresh Talent) which stops you from doing so..

I would advice if you check the T&C of current visa.. like in some cases you cannot swich incountry.. etc.
