Spelling Mistake on Residency Permit letter

Post by angelangelangel » Tue Apr 28, 2009 11:22 pm

Hello,

I just recieved my Indefinite status letter and Visa sticket today by teh home office ( I had claimed asylum earlier ) Anyways, There is a spelling mistake on my surname. What should I do now? Should I leave it as it is for the tiem being? Or should I send the document back for change of name?

Please let me know
Many thanks

for a extension of visa, not ILR, my letter was spelled wrong but not the visa in the passport.
If it is just the letter, then I wouldn't be concerned.
