Need some help regarding the ILR eligibility!

Post by Pradeep Ramagiri » Sun May 03, 2009 9:35 am

Hi all,

In the light of recent developments, I am a bit curious about my WP situatuation. I came to UK on the 1st of Jan 2006 on a Multipple Entry WP. In the conditions detailed in the back of my WP, as it stated,
"A work permit holder who spent a continuous period of 4 years in approved employment and is still required for the employment in question may apply for the removal of the conditions to stay (does it mean ILR/ recourse to funds etc???). This does not apply to work permit holders who have been in UK on a Multiple Entry Work Permit, TWES or SBS permit".

As my first WP issued as a multiple entry work permit ( stated as "MULTI" on the top left corner of my visa) until Dec 2007. Does it mean that I cannot apply for ILR even if we win the case for 4 years eligibility???

I need some help here.

One of you!

Multiple entry implies that you can enter UK multiple times as long as your visa is valid. So the "entry" has not bearing on the ILR.

If the case is won (4 years of ILR ) then you will also be beneffited.
