Tier 1 extension after 5 years

Post by salehin142 » Sun May 03, 2009 10:33 pm

Hi all,
I am on tier1 G. Could you pls tell what happens if
- I enter UK after 3 or 4 months. And after 5 years of visa, can I apply for ILR or I need to extend visa for 3/4 months that I did not stay in UK?

Also, for how long I can stay out of UK once I enter UK?
Thanks.

T-1 visa clock starts from the date of enter. To qualify 5 years continuous residence condition in UK for ILR you have to extend once again T-1 visa.

You can not absent not more than 180 days out side of UK in whole 5 years, as per present immigration rule.
