Hi Everyone,

I am looking for individuals living the challenging life of a long-term irregular migrant in the UK for the making of a short documentary.

My name is Audrey, I am a French 25 years-old who settled in this country in 2005.
Here I met my beloved partner, Abel, who comes from Eritrea and claimed asylum on his arrival in the UK in 2001.
Just like many of you his status is now considered as a Legacy case, which basically means that he will have to carry on living in the shadows of society until a decision is made...

My relationship with Abel has been a real eye-opener for me. As a lucky European citizen I was not really aware of how intolerable the situation is for thousands of people who left their country in the search of a better life. I now fully support the idea of an “earned amnestyâ€
