urgent visa Help

Post by raib » Thu Aug 11, 2005 11:33 am

Dear All,

My mother came here on a visitor visa for 6 months. She came to spend about 5 weeks with us during summer vacations. However during her stay in UK my health got worse. After having some tests I was dignosed with cancer in advanced stages. I have a 6 month old baby to take care of. I am on a disability allowance now and needs someone full time to take care of myself and my baby. At the moment my mother is taking care of everything.

Her visitor visa is now expiring shorly. My question is that
- will it be possible for us to extend her visitors visa from UK based upon my condition?
- Can she go back to her home country and apply for visitors visa again and come again to UK?
- Or is there some other category apart from visitors visa which she can apply for?

Many Thanks for your help

I believe the easiest thing would be for her to go back home and apply for a new visitors visa.
